Shelterline Ltd. is a full service General Contracting firm in the residential construction sector. We offer Design-Build services as well as Construction Management/GC services for projects that range in scope from small interior renovations to ground up multi-unit projects. We also bid projects with line item cost breakdowns for projects which come to us with completed construction bid documents. Our custom residential renovation and ground up construction services are provided throughout Washington D.C, Maryland and Virginia.
In recent years we have found that many of our residential clients come to us with schematic drawings, suitable for generating a budget, but in need of further development to complete the pre-construction stage of their project. We will work with our clients in this circumstance to generate Construction Documents with all required information to achieve our client’s goals. In this capacity Shelterline Ltd. will facilitate communication with local historic commissions, address local energy efficient design incentives and prepare plan documents for submittal to Building Permit bureaus.
The mission of Shelterline Ltd.’s residential division is to identify quality design, to interpret for our clients the ”nuts and bolts” of the designs they have chosen, and to execute and implement design in a manner that will allow our clients to feel enriched by the building experience. Since we have been in the Washington DC metropolitan area, we have established ourselves as experts not only in the initial planning and building of top end design ideas, but also in construction management and accounting systems traditionally applied to large development projects.
Our team of senior employees is made up of a core group in the office supporting a team of supervisors and mechanics in the field. All of our employees have been with the company more than five years with our office manager and two most senior field supervisors having been with the company for fifteen years.
